Electrospun nanofiber mesh for filtering ultrafine particulate matters

Air quality deterioration is a direct threat to our quality of life and health. Therefore, the development of high performance filters is very important to cope with this situation. To this end, we develop ultrathin and light air filters using electrospun nanofibers. To achieve this goal, we investigate on various polymers with high dipolar moment and try to find optimal electrical & chemical process to further extend filtering efficiency.
 

Functionalization and heterostructure formation of electrospun nanofibers 

We develop the functionalization method to adjust electrical property of nanofibers (NFs) and different heterostructure NFs for the realization of texile electronics.
